i really really liked the Sunshine Coast. much lest touristy than the gold coast. Started the day driving 1.5 hours north to the village of Eumundi to go to the famous Eumondi Markets. Mom - think the ontario one but much much larger. Largest market in Australia. http://www.eumundimarkets.com.au/
